Há dias estavamos nós numa das habituais conversas de café. Blah, blah, blah... coisas simples, outras complicadas, banalidades, outras mais interessantes. E vai daí perguntaram-me "O que é o Funk?"
Difícil de dizer... Acho que a única resposta que encontro é:

Funk = Prince

ou

Prince = Funk

Prince Rogers Nelson. Pai, padrinho, tio, avô ou simplesmente ícone do movimento Funk desde os seus primeiros passos. É um ser diferente de todos os outros, como todos aqueles que realmente importam e fazem a diferença, controverso, despreocupado, "cool", sensual, provocador.

Por isso, quem o conhece sabe o que está por trás da palavra.

Estou cada vez mais convencido. Funk é mesmo sinómino de Prince. E os dois fazem-me sentir bem. Desde que comecei a ouvir música. Desde os tempos de Michael Jackson, Guns 'n' Roses e Bon Jovi. E neste Natal, em que troquei um guarda-chuva
 por um dos cd's do génio de Minneapolis (LOL), o Funk dá ao meu corpo e mente o mote para um 2007, no mínimo, optimista. Já que tudo parece correr bem na minha vida. Eh eh eh! =D
