A Winter's Tale

He was born in a country built on hot sand and deep dark water. Never been a saint in this meaningless paradise and never intented to. All angels were gone and the fast drums stoped beating to the rhytm of his heart. Everything around him was pale as a cold winter morning trying to find the perfect reason to avoid the rain. There was nothing he could see, no reasons for him to roam. Altough he wasn’t crawling and begging for balance, ‘cause his soul always knew which way to go.

But as the dust fell asleep in his shoulders he noticed the planet has started to spin the wrong way and the sun was twisting and shining in strange directions, touching places he never thought he was able to. And then he heard a sweet melody that comes from a foreign country, living in an undressed mouth, putting stars in every word and creating roots deep inside a lover’s soul.

He saw an angel losing his wings in a nick of time. Heard him saying goodbye to a long gone white cloud. But he never knew that Heaven was just around the corner. Sunbeams shines in her long blond hair like the reflection of God in the deep waters of the northern sea. The skin was taned by the soft white snow and the blue in her eyes showed no evidence of recent tears. Like Alice in Wonderland.

- “Am I late?”, she seemed to ask while her smile speaked for the whole moment.
- “No”, he said. “The time is right, but I wasn’t expecting you this soon.

She smiled at him and took his hand.

- “I dreamed of you since I was a little girl. It’s like I know you since I know myself. But I’m sorry I’m not what you expected...

Once again the words refused to leave his mouth. But in a moment of faith he just said
- “You’re perfect...

No one really knows what happened to them. Some say he was just dreaming, trying to forget his past. Others say she was just an angel that God send from the sky for a brief moment.
Well... I say they are living their own dream as we speak. What do you think? ;)

(This one really has to be writen in english) ;)
